Hey I am looking for anyone who read Silent Eyes to give me your feed back. I know a lot of people wished the ending was different, and were sad with how it ended, but remember this is the first of three books in the series. The ending of book one is described more in the third and final book of the series. I am curious with what people thought of the book. Let me know.

Silent Eyes
America , the near future: Violence and fear envelopes the nation as human society degenerates into a barbaric, dystopian civilization. In Tompkinsville, New York, two students are brutally attacked at school, leaving one of the victims dead and the other, injured. The accused fled the scene, but Jim isn’t fully certain that his friend Charlie is the madman that Frankie pointed out. The media and society portrays Charlie as a danger to the public, but should Jim stand by his friend? Or believe what is being told to him?Risking everything, Jim goes against his friends, society and the authorities to discover the truth and put an end to the violence. His journey to find the truth ends with a school hostage stand-off that leaves another person dead — and a humanity left asking “Why?”In a debut novel of extraordinary depth and scope, novelist Jay Jax weaves a riveting crime thriller that spews stinging social commentary about mass media’s torrid fixation with violence, which now seems to be the only reportable news.Driven by stunning momentum, compelling characters, human drama, and set in an alternate future that may not be that at all far from reality, Silent Eyes is a pulse-pounding, page-turning crime fiction that asks; Is societal violence escalating because of its extensive media coverage?

This book should be in every high school A reviewer, Hairdresser / nail tech
With how society is today, the younger generation needs to understand all the consequences that surround copy cat crimes. The news can be very influential especially with the constant violent coverage of the war, killing, school shootings and other deaths. It is great that someone has finally written a book that explains this and point out the problems with mass media coverage of all the violence in the world. I recommend this book to everyone as the point of the book is very effective. I found it hard to put down and had to finish it.

Although Silent Eyes is fiction, the amount of truth to the story is unbelievable. It is sad that in this day in age that parents have to worry about their kids while they are at school, which was a safe haven in the past. Jay Jax is able to exemplify his worries about America through his books. When is the rest of America going to start worrying? I hope Americans will open their eyes to the violence before it is too late. Hopefully Jay Jax is able to assist them. Can’t wait to see what his next book is like!!!

I loved your book it was the first thing I’ve read in a long time and your book inspired me to read again. It also made me think about all the violence in the world. Just like in the book, i live in a small town and think I’m safe here but i guess in today’s world know one is really safe. I agree that the media is a big part of why thing are the way they are in the world. If all you here on the news is violence then violence is all some people know. Just like if you tell someone something long enough they start to believe it. I know your writing more books. I can't wait to read them.

GREAT STORY, A reviewer
This is a great book, I couldn't put it down. Full of suspense, it kept me guessing on who did it. The ending was a surprise and left me wanting to read the next one. The author gives good insight on the media and the violence in schools today and how we as a society live by what the media reports. I highly recommend this book to all, especially middle school and high school students. Also recommended: Various Dean Koontz and Stephen King books
Amazing, realistic book on escalating violence Angela, a MOM
Silent Eyes was a thrilling book that I found hard to put down. With all the violence in the world it is great that someone has written a book that we can all relate to. The main character Jim is an average guy who throughout the whole story has to choose between what is right and wrong. Should he stand by his friend who is the accused or stand by his girlfriend? Either way he chooses seems to be wrong. However, the main point of the story is that violence in the world is escalating because of mass media coverage. The way the author ended the book leaves it open for the violence to repeat itself.
